A little bit about us...

Anja

Hi! My name is Anja and I am owner of this blog. I was born and raised in Germany. Started Little Fingers Cookie Jar as a small business but due to a variety of personal circumstances, now run this page as a "blogger". I may not be great at this but still enjoy doing it. I am the Caregiver to my husband, a US Army Veteran and my 3 amazing children. I love to bake, cook and garden whenever time allows me. Therefore you might find different blogs in regards to these things from time to time. I am passionate about so many things but I think you can learn the most about me by just reading my blog. Besides all this , I do tutor German now which has been a lot of fun and a joy!

The Kids

From the oldest to the youngest. There is Joey - seen here in the background. At the young age of 5 Joey was diagnosed with high functioning Autism but don't let this fool you, he has done amazing progress throughout the years! He loves his Saxophone and Music. Next is Eric Jr. Eric is our outgoing, funny and loving social butterfly. Who is very active with sports and loves football. Last but not least, there is Enya. Our "Baby". Enya is difficult to explain. She went from this shy little girl to this beautiful , more outgoing , funny, full of questions kind of kid. These 3 Amazing Kids, have enriched our lives to the fullest and always keep us on our toes.

Eric

I'd like to introduce you to my wonderful and amazing husband Eric. Eric is a OIF / OEF US Army Veteran and so much more. You will learn more about him in many of my blogs. There is so much I could write in here alone about him that it would rattle your mind. So just enjoy the blog and learn more about him this way....

The Family

This is the family to incl. our dog.... want to get to know us, read the blog, laugh and cry with us on our journeys. See the ups and downs of someone who moved to a different country or read about the struggles of a Veteran, or those of a child on the Autism Spectrum. A family that plays together, laughs and cries together....
